When car alarms go bad!
My work gave me the chance to visit Washington DC for a VOIP conference recently, but upon my return I was stung with an alarm problem!
I parked with Diamond Parking (which offer a free car wash when you leave). This always seems like a great idea since a parked car soon collects everything that’s flying around. My truck started just fine when I first got in, but didn’t want to budge after the car wash. I think some water from the jets got inside and really messed with the electrics. I was stranded! I called Kristy past midnight and we realised that I truely was stranded (as we didn’t want to wake the kids up). So I stayed at the local Quality Inn and got the Truck towed in the morning.
Elite towing were able to tow my truck to Rocky Mountain Tire and Auto who remove the faulty alarm from your truck. It now runs like normal and life is returning to normal.
I must say though that everybody I dealt with were really helpful. I had a little run in at the Quality Inn though! It was almost 1am in the morning when I finally got a descent room! After 5 trips back to the front desk they were able to finally provide me with a room! The rooms were either smoker rooms or had people sleeping in them! The Manager was quick to point out that they don’t make mistakes, but I had just found 4 of them! Anyway – All ended well and nobody got hurt.
