30 hour water shortage!

Self inflicted of course! I was plumbing a basement room and thought I’d been done with the task pretty quickly. Well – one of my welds wasn’t so tight and I was unable to fix the job in the same day (Since I tested for leaks after Home Depot were closed).

30 Hours is a long time to  go without water – let me tell you. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but I think it’s opened my eyes to the necessity of having a water storage. It’s also amazing how thirsty you get when you know you can’t run to the tap and have a quick drink! Toilets only flush once and you’re done. Want to cleanup after a sweaty day trying to plumb a basement? No chance!!

We did have about 15 gallons of water on hand (which we used up) but I’m glad we had something, otherwise I think Kristy would of been sterner with me!
