Starts today direct from India. Two other people from my work are also participating in this Redhat Certified Engineers training provided by Whizlabs.
Our instructor is an Indian gentlemen called Prosenjit and he’s probably staying up pretty late to be our guide. This will be our 1st 2 hour installment of 14.

Our 1st session went very well. We installed RHEL on our test boxes and received a whole 105 pages which we’ll be covering tomorrow.There is a lot of study material to cover and so far so good.I’m actually feeling confident about taking the test at this point. But ask me that again in 2 weeks!
Our Guru was caught in an automobile accident on his way from today. The Police detained him for questioning (which I guess they do in India) and was later released with a damaged headlight.Our training will be extended an additional day to make up.
Yesterday was fun… We got to log into each others server and cause problems It gave me a little insight into how it’s going to feel on the exam.It’s also good to know how RedHat will be applying these breaks and what to look for…. So far so good
Well – the ending result is not so good!
Jon and Russ both failed their RHCE exam – just barely though.
Our instructor was telling us we don’t have to worry about certain services – yet these services were in the exam. Ouch – that’s over $900 in the toilet.
Sorry guys…. I’m hoping to take mine in Seatlle on May 20th…
