GMAIL 1GB of Storage!
Google are beta testing a new email service which whey are calling GMail.
You can only join if somebody invites you and thanks to a good friend I was able to join today.
I can’t believe that they are actually handing out 1000MB of storage space! A really cool feature I like is that you can archive your emails (which don’t account for the 1000MB) and have a great search tool through your current and archived messages.
You can even download your GMail via outlook / email program. I was thinking of archiving my email at GMail and just letting my Outlook download the messages and I can easily delete them from my local box, while keeping an archived copy (for later searching) with google! Seems a good idea to me.
