Halloween capers
Halloween was on a Sunday this year, so all the trick or treating was done on Saturday, which turned out the be the best day for it anyway!. Sunday was snowing pretty much all evening and into the night, so Saturday was a really good day.
Scott and Toby were both Spidermen, Alyson was a carebear, Kristy was a witch and I was the faceless phantom! We had a great time with plenty of candy to last us for 6 months! even at my rate of eating!!.
1st Kristy went out with all the 3 children as I stayed and waited for more trick or treaters. Then we stwiched off and I took the boys in my truck to harvest another area of town. By 8pm Toby was pretty tired and couldn’t carry his bag of candy anymore so we decided to call it a night.
I was surprised by the lack of costumes for the adults, I only remember a handful who took some time and dressed up. The only reason I got donned was due to Scott’s repetitive questions of “What are you going to be daddy?”.
So thanks go to my boys for getting me into the spirit of Halloween, and thanks to Kristy for buying the faceless phantom part of my costume.
Hope you all had a spooky time
